I am very happy with this case. I have an HP DV9000t with a 17" display and it fits with 2" to spare all the way around. Yet the case is NOT oversized. It is very easy to handle in and out of the car, office, home, ship, or airplane.
I am a digital forensic investigator and this case has room for my equipment and still handles very well. I had a Targus Laptop Backpack and had over 50 pounds of equipment in it - it was a nightmare to move through airports and airplanes. This case is VERY easy to handle and despite the same amount of equipment it FEELS about half the weight of the backpack.
Finally, the various pockets, pouches, filing area, and the perfect notebook/laptop parking area make this the perfect all-purpose laptop case, which just happens to also have enought extra room to pack your overnight needs!
Oh yeah! The unique carrying handle which fuses two into one and the locking telescoping handle are amazing. You can pull OR PUSH your case with equal ease.
If we had taken the time and energy to design the "perfect" laptop/notebook rolling case, this is what we would have come up with!!!

I travel some in the US and recently have had the "opportunity" to travel over most of Africa and the Middle East. This bag is an ideal carry-on size (I don't get in trouble with even the most restrictive airlines), will keep a 17" laptop safe and sound and has plenty of room to pack a couple nights worth of clothing and all the gear to go with the laptop.
-Handle makes it comfortable to carry if required, stands up well to abuse.
-Tough ballistic fabric, all the major pouches have double zipper pulls to make them easy to lock and are easily locked with the standard TSA-accepted locks.
-The removable laptop sleeve comes out easily and provides extra protection for the laptop when it's under the seat in front of you. -Convenient pouches for pens, cards and the like.
The only issue I have had is that the "tow handle" occasionally will not deploy all the way. This is remedied by simply putting it all the way back down and then re-extending it. Happens about 1/15 times.
Recommended, especially if you travel with a 17" monster.

I take about 25 rountrip flights a year, and needed a "roller" that was flexible and durable. This is it! It has enough pockets to store the small items and enough protection for my laptop and digital camera. I purchased this for my recent trip to South America and it performed beautifully! Not only is it sturdy, durable and comfortable to carry when necessary, but the laptop pocket did it's job well. Kept my laptop snug, secure and well-protected from bumps. Lots of pockets to hold items for every situation. This bag is incredible if you have a 17 inch laptop. It's so hard to find a good bag that'll fit my enormous laptop, and this one more than fits the bill. It has a really comfortable handle if you need to carry it, and has so many hidden pockets and places to put things. I love it, and can't say enough about it. The quality is also excellent. I highly recommend getting one. It's worth the price.
