Digital camera Review: Better than most

I read the good and bad reviews here and decided to try it out. I got it for a 15" MacBook Pro unibody (mid 2010). The quality looks and feels decent, not sure why some people said it looks cheap. Seems pretty heavy-duty to me. As for the rubber gasket coming off? Yes, it can be taken off fairly easily, but I haven't had it come off by itself. The only slight problem is it covers the CD/DVD slot just the smallest amount. I haven't actually tried ejecting a disc to see if it hits the lock or not cuz I'm worried it may. Other than that, I'm happy with it.
Someone stated their laptop was stolen because they left it unattended. Locked or not, why would you leave anything valuable unattended??? They should know if someone wants to steal something bad enough, they're going to get it no matter what. This lock is a deterrent, not a guarantee against theft.

This product works great. Just tie a loop to a bedpost or anything that stays in place and you'll know where your laptop will be when you get back from the bathroom. It is really easy to use and the cable is pretty heavy and strong. Unless someone is carrying around huge heavy-duty scissors, your laptop will be safe. The cable is pretty long too. I recommend this product for peace of mind.

I chose this one because the red matched my notebook. I like how this lock had some color to it.
& because I herd combos and tubular locks were easy to hack into.
I've never owned a laptop lock before, but this one looks and feels high quality. It was, however, extremely flimsy on my toshiba netbook. It fit more snuggly on my mom's sony vaio, although it still wobbles a bit.
Key part kind of scared me at first for a brief moment, but then I figured out how to use it. You have to make sure you push it in ALL the way (you'll hear a click short of) to unlock it. But don't worry, it seems legit and won't break or get stuck.
Cable is long and strong.
It is a high quality lock, but I think it would fit more better on certain laptops than others, but in my situation it didn't fit my toshiba too well. So overall I'd give it a 3 stars.

Not only was it difficult to install, I managed to rip off a bit of the plastic casing of my Sony Vaio. I suspect that it's virtually useless, and it's totally overpriced. Use a strip of Scotch tape instead.Digital camera Review: DOA.

I recently received this product and it was broken out of the box. The locking mechanism had faulty bearings which made it impossible to open/close. Aside from that the cable was heavy duty and well crafted. A little bit heavier than what I want to add to my already overloaded backpack.
