The mouse appeared to work just fine right out of the box on my Dell Lattitude 800 notebook with XP pro. The accelleration was too high so I downloaded the mouseworks latest version on 12/25/03.
The kensington software then completely removed the laptop Alps pad and the pointing stick. No recovery is possible. The wireless mouse does NOT behave as a USB device!. It is no longer even recognized as such. It can not be removed as a normal usb device should. I wouldn't recommend this product to Saadam. Buy anything but this mouse. Microsoft and Logitech products work just fine.
