Digital camera Review: Great value
Summary: 5 Stars

This wrist rest fit on my MacBook perfectly. It keeps my wrists angled correctly and is generally just what you would want.

Digital camera Review: I've Found My Wrist Savior
Summary: 4 Stars

Many laptop computers have edges that are very unfriendly to the palms of your hands. Apple's MacBook and MacBook Pro computers are especially poor in this regard.

Now I never go anywhere without my Kensington "Comfort Type Notebook Wrist Rest." In fact, I purchased a second one, which travels with me. The original stays at home.

All the edges of this wrist rest are soft or nicely rounded. The top is adorned with a thin layer of memory foam to cushion your palms (or wrists, depending on the distance of the keyboard from the front of the laptop, and how much you choose to slide the wrist rest onto the computer).

The additional benefit to this rest is that your hands are elevated about 3/8 inch above the laptop, which allows for a cooling effect. No longer will you get sweaty palms from the heat under your hands. I also find typing more comfortable in this elevated position.

There is similarly a cooling effect underneath your laptop, as there are venting slots in the underside of this wrist rest. So you need not worry about restricting the airflow around your portable computer.

This wrist rest weighs next to nothing, so it's no problem to carry it with you all the time. Kensington makes this thing of some stiff rubber-like material that appears to be very durable. You could have this thing buried at the bottom of your laptop bag or suitcase, crushed under the weight of all your junk and it would survive just fine. (Although the memory foam might take a few minutes to recover.)

I consider this wrist rest a great combination of small size for portability and just big enough to provide the comfort you need. My one criticism is that I think the wrist pads should be further apart (by about 1"). Other than that, I'm happy.

For the sake of the search engines, I'll mention that this review is for Kensington part # 82051A.

Digital camera Review: It's OK.
Summary: 3 Stars

My laptop is one of the larger ones with a 17 inch screen so it does not work very well with it. ALthough I think if my laptop was smaller it would work better.

Digital camera Review: It's ok...
Summary: 3 Stars

This is ok. I was looking for a wrist rest that would fit over my laptop because of how the keyboard is set back. This fits and is made of flexible plastic, so that's good. The part where you put your wrists is pretty hard, not all that comfortable. And I have to consciously make an effort to position my hands in such a way that the base of my palm is sitting on it, rather than my wrist. (It doesn't naturally guide your hands into the right position or anything like that.) But that position is more comfortable with this product than without it.

Digital camera Review: Just what I needed..
Summary: 5 Stars

It fits perfectly on my Toshiba 15.4" Satellite Laptop - perfect wrist support! It doesn't cause me any problems reaching the mouse or anything.
