Digital camera reviews of Kensington K33902US Bluetooth USB Micro AdapterDigital camera Review: Great bluetooth adapter Summary: 5 StarsIt works like a charm. For those of you with windows 7, dont install the CD. Simply just plug it in and windows will install the correct drivers and do the rest. Save yourself some trouble and enjoy.
Digital camera Review: Works great on my desktop machine Summary: 5 StarsI plugged this into the back of my keyboard so I could use Bluetooth with my iPod. The iPod's BT support isn't so great (can't sync over Bluetooth?!? wtf?), but this adapter works fine. I didn't need to install their special software/drivers under Vista or under Windows 7 - just plugged it in and the OS did the rest. The low profile is nice and I can't even see it sticking out the back of my keyboard.
Digital camera Review: Maybe me trouble Summary: 5 Stars
Be aware you may have issues on Windows 7 once there is no official driver for it yet. Took me over 3 hours to get it working properly.
The issue is not with the device, but my rate is low to make the vendor aware the problems they need to follow on for Win7.
By then way, another bad OS M$ has.
Digital camera Review: with Windows 7 Summary: 4 StarsMade the mistake of following the directions, inserting the CD and going through the install process - which ended in saying that it wasn't compatible with this version of Windows (Windows 7). Uninstalled the software and then just put the blue tooth device in the USB slot and Win 7 installed the driver and software needed in a minute or so. It wouldn't connect with my Palm Tungsten E2 at first then I realized I hadn't changed the settings on my computer to allow the device to be "discoverable." Once I did that everything worked great. I'm happy with this device since my Palm Tungsten E2 is not able to sync with Windows 7 64-bit through the USB cable I've always used. Now I can still keep my E2 and sync without the cable. Nice!
Digital camera Review: Eee PC Friendly Summary: 5 StarsI purchased this adapter for use with my Eee PC 900A and my Sony Ericsson C905a (as a modem where there is no free wifi).
That being said this little device works great! I did not install the drivers that were included on the disc, and everything worked on both ubuntu and windows xp. The Sony Ericsson PC Suite is able to connect to my phone while still in my pocket, or backpack (approx 3 feet away). I have not tested the range of connectivity.
For me this device serves it's purpose.
