Digital camera reviews of Kensington K33902US Bluetooth USB Micro AdapterDigital camera Review: Great! Summary: 5 Stars
Great product, low profile! Barely notice it when plugged in - it only sticks out of the USB port by less than a 1/4"!.
No probs using it with my BT headset, HTC Touch Pro, Wiimote, etc...all worked flawlessy...
Digital camera Review: Hard to get it work with win 7 Summary: 2 Stars
I like this device half to half i have to say it connects my phone flawlessly with either windows 7 driver and Broadcomm v6.2.0.9700 however it doesn't apply with headsets headset won't work. also i try to connect it to my headsets it was able connect with the software in the cd and it able to pair and connect with skype but the skype will only let me hear but mic is not working and it only work once upon restart computer and it won't work anymore after that anymore until restart computer. so to those with windows 7, pass this item and go buy something else that will work better with win 7.
Digital camera Review: Haven't removed it from my laptop yet Summary: 5 Stars
I bought this because I wanted a Bluetooth dongle I could always keep connected to my laptop, even as I carried it around in my not-too-well-padded backpack.
It's been flawless. Doesn't get in the way, and I've been able to use all the Bluetooth services I need. It sticks out about a centimeter, you wouldn't know it's there if I didn't point it out. My most common use is pushing photos from my phone. It's quick and intuitive with the included software.
With Vista, the software packaged with it is pretty much a must. That's a bit of a drawback, what with Vista's pretty well fleshed out Bluetooth support being built in. Vista only discovered the virtual COM port service with native drivers.
Digital camera Review: Horrible Summary: 1 Stars
Ok so others have already stated that the software that comes with this adapter is useless, well not only that but it is very annoying on Win 7 ever since install I am constantly prompted on start-up to reinstall because the drivers aren't recognized...but the adapter is working fine. Next issue is that like said before you have to run it from the same USB port you installed it on or it won't recognize. Another issue I have had that I have not seen that anyone else had is I cannot full insert the adapter into my USB port or it won't recognize, I have to halfway pull it out and put it back in until I find just the right spot for it to be...and no it's not a problem with my USB port or the other 30 something USB devices I have would have the same issue. Your best bet is to stear clear of this one. I mean the only reason I bought this is because it was the only BT adapter that Amazon had with an actual Brand name that would ship to an APO address.
Digital camera Review: Impressively small device with very limited range. Summary: 3 Stars
I purchased this device mostly for listening to music. The size is very impressive as its about the size of a penny. Unfortunately the range is also very small, about ten feet from the device and the music starts cutting out.
