Digital camera Review: Fit my 2-year old great, just wished they lasted longer

I bought these headphones for my then 15-month year old. They fit great, but he refused to wear them (since he hated putting things on his head.) When my son was 26-months, we took them out again in hopes that he would take to them the second time. He did. He loved wearing them and they worked perfectly on a plane trip. The ear pieces are very comfortable and soft. I love the fact that there was an external volume control. They are light weight, but a little bulkier than I would have liked.
However, after only 3 weeks of moderate use, somehow a wire must have gotten disconnected, and only one ear had sound. I was disappointed, and rather than ordering another $20 headset, I order the Sony Mdr-222Kd/Blk Childrens Headphones (Black), which cost $13. The Sony model ear pieces are made of spongy material, and although they fit his head, they kept slipping. (Granted, the description says that they are sized for 8-year olds, but my son has a large head.) We didn't have the slippage problem with the Kidz Gear one.
If I had to do it over again, I would probably order the Kidz Gear headset again, despite the cost, and hope for the best!

We bought the headphones for a car trip we were taking with our 3 year old. They fit perfect and she loves them. They adjusted easily to fit her head and the cord is long enough to reach our DVD plug-in. I also like that they keep the volume from getting too loud in her little ears.
