This product is just too fragile. It failed completly after 3 months with average usage and carried in my wallet every day. Kingmax thought the drive needed to be reformated and had me download and run the formatter, but it didn't even acknowledge the drive's existence. They haven't yet responded to this fact. This is listed as an 8gb drive. Normally that would be 7.45 real-world gigs. But this is actually 7.5gb in drive numbers, or only 7gb in real-world numbers. In other words, the size is overstated by a full 13%. This disparity between advertised and actual size is even acknowledged in the drive identifier string, which reports as: "7.5 GB Kingmax USB2.0 FlashDrive"
That makes this drive too small for the 8g USB stick-targeted OS installers.

Im a student and i got this product so that I could put a flash drive in my wallet and not worry about not having a flash drive on me in circumstances which call for one. This one defiantly plays this role and works amazingly. What more do you need besides large storage, smallest possible size, and damage resistance all for a relatively low price compared to other flash drives with similar storage capacity.
