This item is amazing. It has so many different functions! Also, it works very well with macs, which I highly appreciate. If you want a multi-function memory card reader, then this is the one to get! It is durable and very easy to use.

was delivered fairly quick....And I was having issues with the built in card reader on my Dell inspiron 1525 laptop....guy at Best Buy (geek squad) said the card reader was an issue with the Dell (sure)...tried to sell me a 35.00 unit at the store... ya right... Got this, and it was plug and play on windows 7 ultimate. REALLY.... glad I took the risk and did it. Paid 12.47 and was pleasantly surprised it worked immediately!! No hassle... Although it isn't the prettiest esthetically, It does do the job. Probably easier than down loading the drivers online to make it work through the computer/internet. Took me less than 1 minute to get my pics and videos into Picasa3. A++++++ so far
Digital camera Review: Answer to my problem Summary: 5 Stars
I have always had desktop computers so when I got my laptop I gave no thought as to being able to insert my SD card or Memory Card to download my pictures. Much to my surprise, there are no slots to for my cards. This card reader allows me to download the pictures from both cameras. It is makes downloading my pictures quick and easy.

The card reader works great so far. I have only used the SD and microSD slots though.

This may be entirely my fault, but I purchased this product since it would accept 19 various formats. I only have a need for three formats (XD, SD, MMC), unfortunately this device does not accept the XD cards. Needless to say I am a little more than disappointed. The other issue I have is with the length of cable used to connect to the computer. You need to use an extension cable, which is another connection to worry about. The device works well with the other formats, but I still need to obtain one device to read all the formats I need. It appears well built, although I have only used it six times since purchase. I don't know how well the "slide mechanism" will hold out with repeated use over the years. I would have given it more stars in the "functionality" and "ease of use" sections, if not for the lack of an XD slot and the cable length.
