I cannot use it! The product description on Amazon say it works with Mac OS 10.x--meaning any OS 10, yes?--but it actually requires 10.5! I am in the process of asking Amazon how they are going to deal with my problem since it is all their fault for not having the correct information listed. It is small enough to carry in your pack or laptop case if your a student or if your desktop readers no longer work. Save yourself a repair bill and purchase this card reader, well worth the price!

I owned a Sandisk reader and really felt is was solid and used it for traveling and home for many years. Problem was, I felt it was too big for traveling. So, I ordered this Kingston reader after buying numerous Kingston cards, which work very well BTW, and paid a good price for it. It was about half the cost of the SanDisk. The reader works very well, is compact and travels well. My only concern is it feels cheap, not solid, sort of tinny, and I handle it with kid gloves. The connection cord seems a bit too short and storing the cord back into the unit is cumbersome and the metal tab you wrap the cord under is sharp and difficult to work around. It is exactly what I thought I would get for the price I paid, and if it fails I haven't lost that much. I, like many others, have learned you get what you pay for. This unit is small enough for traveling and handles various cards well. I feel you need to baby it because of its' build quality. That is not a criticism, just a statement of fact.
