Digital camera Review: Able to keep up my Nikon D50 shots

As they said, poor men pay twice. Don't buy the regular SD card for your digital SLR. Get the one supports higher write speed. I shoot RAW+JPEG with a Nikon D50, this SD card can keep up with my continuously rapid firing without a problem. The Chinese and Taiwan SD cards have been bad for years, yet companies like Kingston and plenty of others still are selling them as OEM's. Check the forums for the plethora of problems people have. If you want to be frustrated by the pictures you have taken on your vacation being corrupt and unuseable, then get one of these cards. If on the otherhand you want to be able to use and enjoy the pictures you have taken, then get one from Japan. How do you know you have a Japanese card? It says so on the back, and the manufacturers won't tell you or just don't know as it depends on where they got the latest batch from. Shameful junk and a company like Kingston should really know better. Avoid like the plague unless you know its origin.Digital camera Review: Bad experience with this SD card

Please do not buy this product. It worked well for just a few weeks (3 or so) and then right in the middle of our Las Vegas trip when I had almost 1GB of pictures taken on that day, with 1 more GB to go it just died. It gave a memory card error and my camera was unable to read or write into it. I plugged it into my computer and the computer failed to get any data out of it too. I bought a new SD card and my camera worked just fine. So I lost all the memories of our trip in just a second. I got an RMA from Kingston where they replace the broken card but you are responsible for shipping it to and from them. The total shipping cost would be approximately 10$. I am not sure whether its worth it because you might get another card that might die again on you when other brands are available for just $20...Digital camera Review: Best Bang for the Buck.

I didn't think my Casio EX-Z40 was that old, so I went ahead an ordered this 2GB 50X Kingston memory card in the hopes that I could take a ton more photos. Of course, my first experience using this memory card was at my Great Grandmother's 100th birthday. I went to shoot video and once I finished and went to save it the screen popped up with "System Error". WHAT?!! This became very common with this memory card. I am frustrated more at Casio I suppose than this memory card, but it's hard to tell which one is actually the culprit, as other memory cards have worked great. If you are not really hard up on how fast it saves the file, I would perhaps check with your camera/device for compatibility before making this purchase. I guess I could try using this in my HD video camera. The intermittent function of the card will ruin taking photos at an event and you will want to put your camera away, so better to be safe than sorry...even if it only costs sixteen bucks. I rate this a 4 out of 5, just for the mere fact that it works when it wants to.
