Well this is my first purchase of a digital camera & a compact flash card, so I really have nothing to compare it to. With that said, I think it works fine. I've only used it a few times, but it keeps my data intact. The only thing I didn't like was the writing speed, which is 50X. Next time I'll probably get one that writes faster. The problem comes in when you want to set up to take another shot & the card is still writing the data. Aside from that, it works fine.
