Digital camera reviews of Kingston DTI/2GB Data Traveler 2 GB USB Flash DriveDigital camera Review: Nice Summary: 5 Stars
Cheap & reliable. What else can expect from a memory stick - and this one delivers it.
Digital camera Review: Nice Flash Drive Summary: 4 Stars
So far it works great. It just fits my key chain so that I can take it with me everyday, very convenient.
Digital camera Review: Slooooooow...... Summary: 2 Stars
tested the drive by copying a 897Mb file back and forth. While read speed was very good - around 16Mb/sec, write speed was horrible - slightly over 2Mb/sec. In comparison, my old 1Gb Lexar drive shows 8.5Mb/sec write and 11Mb/sec read.
Not to mention that there is a 15-20 sec delay between you hit 'copy' button and the actual copying dialog showing up.
Did test it on my desktop and laptop.
It may be just a faulty one I got, but this is my second negative experience with Kingston after purchasing their 2Gb miniSD card (also pretty slow).
Digital camera Review: The price is right Summary: 4 Stars
This is not a fast stick by any standard, but the price I paid for it is beyond my expectation and so far it just works flawlessly.
Digital camera Review: USB Flash Drive Summary: 5 Stars
This is a great, easy to use product. I needed it to make transfering some of my pics to other computers easier. So far I have not maxed out the storage on it, which is surprising. All I had to do was plug it in, and it was ready to go. Although, when I went to plug it in I assumed the logo would be on top, but it is actually the bottom. That was the only thing that threw me off a bit. This has been a great product so far.
