Digital camera Review: Convenient, Large Storage

For a flash drive this size the price can't be beat. I especially like the retractable usb part so that I'm not worried about breaking it in my work bag. I just throw it in there and forget about it. I noticed on the packaging that it said it was not compatible with Windows ReadyBoost, but that was not the primary reason I bought this drive.
As all flash drives today come in FAT32 file system, I usually will go ahead and convert them to NTFS as soon as I plug it in the first time.
After doing so with this drive, I noticed it then gave me the option of using it for ReadyBoost, as it now met the minimum specs for speed needed for file transfer.
Also, I noticed one reviewer said that it lacked LED read/write notification. If you look directly at the emblem for Kingston (it's a native head) you can see the LED blinking inside during read/write.

I was having trouble changing the file format on my Data Traveler, so I called Kingston
Tech Support, After a few minutes of trouable shooting ( unsucessful ) the Tech
discovered that my item was a fake !! no numbers on the metal portion.. I'm upset with
Amazon and the supplier for allowing this to happen.

This 16GB Data Flash Drive Traveler will give you peace of mind. I back up my daughter's laptop with it easily and it is great to be able to take important date and lots of large format pictures with you on trips. Love it .... works GREAT!!! Highly recommend. I wish there were an easy attachment for the device as their is with micro cruzer and the ativa brands.
