Digital camera Review: Does the job.

I bought the 4 gig Kingston drive back in July or August in anticipation of the coming school year, and it has served me pretty well. It is a bit slow to react when I plug it into the computers at school (which are a bit older and still run XP) to retrieve my files for printing and presentations, but i have no complaints as to how it works with my Vista laptop.
My only complaint is with the keyring it's packaged with... it's a little large for the plastic loop, and throughout my first few months of stashing it in pocket or purse said loop snapped off, which pretty much nixes the convenient portability of the device.
Otherwise, it does just what a flash drive should do. None of that built-in software to slow things down or complicate the process.

while, im sure its far from the most memory that you can walk around with in your pocket,for my present needs, it is more than addiquate (sp). 4gig is a lot of pictures. in fact a fair amount of music too.
fortunately for me the price was right too .free!!! i got mine with "pepsi" points. even better, i didnt have to buy the soda either. between friends and myself pulling caps of bottles, i collected many points.
all of the Kingston memory stick are still working and pretty durable.

This is a perfect jump drive for my purposes. It has a large amount of memory for such a cheap price, which might make you wonder about the quality of the jump drive, but it's perfect. I've never had any problems with it...I use it to back up all the files on my computer, and it's great for that purpose. I have a ton of pictures, music, and files on it.
