Digital camera reviews of Kingston Elite Pro 4 GB 133x CompactFlash Memory Card CF/4GB-S2

Digital camera Review: Good value CF card for general purpose photography
Summary: 5 Stars

It is good for almost every occasion, events, portraits, etc. For sports, if you have 10-12 megapixel camera and shoot in JPG mode, you'll be fine, this card can handle flow of data. If you have 15 megapixel camera or more, you might one a faster card, such as Kingston 266X

But if you shoot fast continuous burst in RAW mode most of the time like sports or other time critical work, you might also need faster card.

Great value for the price.[...]

Digital camera Review: Good value for the money
Summary: 5 Stars

Fast and good perfomance with my Canon Rebel XTi, I never got a problem with Kingston products.

Digital camera Review: Good, Inexpensive Product
Summary: 5 Stars

I bought two of these cards at the same time. I've been using them for a good month now. So far, I haven't had any problems. The read and write time is the same as my Sony card that is rated the same speed. I feel that you can get a lemon in every brand, so you should give them a try and see how they work for you. For the price, its worth it.

Digital camera Review: Good, inexpensive, but might be slow
Summary: 4 Stars

Product was relatively inexpensive, which was nice. I used it as a storage card for digital music for a car stereo. When copying data to the card, it went pretty slow. So I downloaded a flash memory benchmark program and ran it. It did not come too close to the 133x the card was advertised. I used a SanDisk PCMCIA to CF adapter. As a comparison, I used a SanDisk CF to USB2 adapter and received about a 2x transfer speed increase, but that speed was still slow and nowhere near 133x. I do not know how fast a typical USB2 jumpdrive is supposed to run, but I also benchmarked one of those I had and it went about 10x faster than this card. Hopefully there will be other reviews about this to either confirm or refute the lack of speed for this card.

Digital camera Review: Great CF card for the money.
Summary: 5 Stars

I bought this Compact Flash card to use it with my new Sony Alpha A200, I have a week shooting everything, everywhere like a mad. I've tested shooting jpg's and RAW's, and also in burst mode and I gotta tell you, 0 complains to the Kingston. Great capacity (4GB), fast as it said it is (133x) and so far no image damaged.

So, don't buy this card for a Pro work, isn't made to do this job. This is a memory card of excelent performance for us the amateurs/high enthusiatic photographers, you can't find a better deal for the money.
