Digital camera Review: Never failed me yet!!

I use 6 of these 4GB cards and have never had a card failure. They are cheap and dependable. I get about 235 RAW images on a card with my D200. I format the card in camera every time I dump a card. This is the safest way to manage CF cards. I've always used Kingston and they've never let me down.Digital camera Review: Not working with Nikon Coolpix 5000

I have an old Nikon Coolpix 5000 that has been idle for some time - it has been using a 1GB IBM Microdrive (which is a Type-II CF). I recently bought the Kingston 4GB Elite Pro 133x CF card and wanted to give it a try on this old camera. The first step on Coolpix 5000 prompted me to format the card, which seemed successful. But then it shows "out of memory" and doesn't take photos even if I press the shutter button.
From an external card reader, it seems the card is formatted correctly with folder name "100Nikon".
I'm guessing it's more likely a problem on Coolpix 5000 that it doesn't work with this card. However, I read from somewhere else that Coolpix 5000 does work with maximum of 4GB memory, so why does this happen?
Any idea?

Product is OK. It does not give the number of shots that a San Disk 4 gig will. It is working OK, no problems yet.

As many digital cameras enter the 2009 market with increased resolution, the need for compact flash cards able to hold at least 4GB of memory is apparent. I own 10 PNY CF and SD cards ranging in size from 1-4 GB. They are reliable, durable, and priced below most of the competition. I am using this card in my Canon A750. It works great and enlarges the original 32MB memory to 4GB!! I love it.
