HUUUGE sound for such a little device. I had no idea how tiny this thing would be but it's so easy to carry around from room to room. I got it for my mom and she brings it with her in the kitchen, in the bathroom while she showers, and in her bedroom. Compared to Bose SoundDock, Polk, Denon, and anything else I could get my hands on. Spent 2.5 hours in a store doing side by sides. I am obsessive about trying to compare apples and apples. Klipsch won when compared to items in the same price range every time. Hands down. Also hung very very close with those way more expensive (besting quite a few like the Denon). Bose sounds *slightly* better, but not by much and not for more than $100 more. We own a Sonos S5 as well (which also sounds great) but it's lots more expensive and the Klipsch holds its own against that very well too. Rock, classical, - even Thunderstorm (relaxation) tracks sound great. Decent bass, excellent midrange and nice highs. Very balanced. Won't sound like tower speakers, but none of these tabletops do. Basically, this is the best item of it's kind out there for the money. The plastic could be a little less flimsy, but it's not ultra fragile either. Great balance of sound quality and price. Worth every penny.
Oh, and DEFINITELY charges the iPod Touch 2G. It's what I use with the unit and it charges great.

I recently purchased a Klipsch iGroove SXT sound system and I loved it from the moment I plugged it in. That is until the next day when the remote control decided to not work anymore! Then I realized that this system is too cool to worry about a little remote. No technical mumbo jumbo here, this system is perfect for people like myself who do not want to spend too much money, who will not use it often, but will be confident enough to use when a few friends and family come over for a small get together or just a quiet night relaxing by the fire. I love it and so does everyone else.

The price was good when I got it for 50% off or so. I never used the Bose one so I have no idea how this one compares...but I'm pretty happy with it. It does charge my I-Pod 16G Touch and I got that in 2008 so as for earlier ones that people were complaining about, I don't know.Digital camera Review: Great little unit

I just got it, it plays via the aux input from a live radio station, but the sound is not all that great via the aux, the treble is too low, so it sounds muffled, with the iPod in there, it sounded ALOT better. There aren't any fancy buttons, just volume and power, on the remote is a track selector. I like it.
