Digital camera reviews of Kodak Batteries 1578921 Ni-Mh Aa Card 4pkDigital camera Review: Small voltage Summary: 4 Stars
The battery is 1.2 V as opposed to the more standard 1.5 V. It works but the charge does not last long.
Digital camera Review: poor mechanical quality Summary: 2 Stars
I bought the batteries for my digital camera and they work fine. They came pre-charged, last about as long as my other rechargeable batteries (Rayovac hybrid) and work well with my camera.
Mechanically, however, they are less impressive. After only two weeks all four batteries have begun to fall apart. The outside seam of the battery starts peeling and I wonder how long they will last. I will return them.
Digital camera Review: the best priced nimh batteries Summary: 5 Stars
These batteries are the best.
I've used them for over a year on my canon 3IS and now I've bought more for my canon 10IS.
Digital camera Review: these batteries suck! Summary: 1 Stars
I don't how other people are saying these batteries hold a charge, because they don't for me.
I bought 2 sets of these less than 2 months ago. I put one set in my camera, and kept the other set for spares. I topped them off in my automatic charger before doing this because when I tested them with a voltmeter after taking them out of the package they were low. I guess that should have been my first clue.
I went to use the camera today, and it wouldn't start up. It said "Change Batteries". I didn't take that many pictures since I put them in. So, ok- I change to the spare set and they're down to 50% already and dropping fast. In 6 weeks.
I never ever any problems with the Rayovac batteries I use. The Rayovacs never went dead like this. They really hold their charge.
These things? Forget it. Maybe I got 2 bad packages?
I would never buy these again. They're good for small flashlights, that's about it. I certainly won't use them in a camera and wind up running out of juice at at a crucial moment.
Back to my trusty Rayovacs.
