The batteries came with the camera were dead, which made me think the product was bad to start off. Fortunately my husband put his batteries in the pink camera for me, then it begins to function. I suggest Amazon not to send the batteries along even though it probably comes with the camera. It would mislead consumers to think otherwise, maybe they even would try to return the merchandise due to the faulty batteries. The camera is a simple, easy point and shoot device, light weight. Bought this for my 9 year old daughter and it seems to be a good value. Had some trouble getting it to power up at one point and found that it didn't work well on regular alkaline AA batteries and had to get Kodak's batteries. Overall a good lower end camera.Digital camera Review: Delicate

I bought this camera in blue at Walmart, because it was cheap and I needed something right away. It worked fine, but I dropped it once (in the case mind you) and the viewing screen looked shattered. Fine for taking snapshots, but maybe not for those rough and tumble folks on the go, or clumsy people like me.
