Digital camera Review: Disappointed with kit

Bought at Christmas 2008 for a great price. Gave to aunt and other family member. Rip off. Didn't come with rechargeable batteries or charger! No wonder it was cheap. Make sure you check to ensure you get a charger and battery. Have to buy a case too. Very disappointing.
Have to try to use it on non-rechargeable batteries for Easter tomorrow.

This camera was gifted to me over the holidays. I was able to set it up and begin using it with minimal reading of the handbook. The camera takes great pictures; my only dislike is the delay time between pushing the 'take' button and the picture actually 'taking'. That said, I would recommend this camera to anyone wanting something inexpensive to take on vacation. I put two new batteries in it before my vacation this past weekend and they are still good; camera doesn't seem to drain the batteries as much as the older model I had.
The digital card is easy downloadable to my computer and I like that as well.
Not a bad camera for the price and definately easy to use.

The camara works OK, but there are three things that could be better:
1) The brightnes of the screen is not Ok, when you are outside you almost can't see the picturs taken.
2) The time between shots is to long.
3) There is somthing strange with the battery compartment and battery placment.
