We got this for my mom for Christmas. She's not used it yet - but based on my experience with my Kodak Easy Share CX7430 I'm sure she'll enjoy it. For years she's used disposable cameras -- the result was that she would often take duplicate shots to be sure she got a picture she wanted. I know she'll enjoy being able to review a shot on her new Easy Share, to know in advance she'll be satisfied with the picture she's taken. It was a x-mas gift. He thought he would get a new digital camera b/c the Sony cybershot is 8 years old, and is bigger/bulkier than newer cameras. I didn't ask for a new camera. The one I have works fine, and actually works better than this smaller Kodak; it has been dropped and hasn't broken on me yet. The cybershot also takes better pictures from a distance than the Kodak (note it has more megapixels than my cybershot 2.1). I also like the sony's batteries as they are easier to replace (AA vs. the square one made for Kodak that I can't seem to charge). It's cute and easy, but the quality is less than desireable. Great for a teenager or younger person who is not serious about photography; I happen to like taking pictures that look good! I got this camera for my daughter. She had an older Kodak that I gave to her when I bought myself a new one. It finally bit the dust. She is a new mommy (and I am a new grandma!) so she needed a camera to get those precious snaps of the baby. It is a great camera and the price was right!Digital camera Review: Not to hot

The features are nice, great outdoor pics but if u want to take photos inside try somethings else. Not the best quality photos, mine come out fuzzy and the color is dull even with the flash and setting the iso on high. I love this camera. It is so easy to use. I had no instruction book and was able to operate the camera with virtually no questions. It has some small scratches on it the seller noted but this camera performs like new. I have posted many pictures on myspace with this camera. Will be using it to sell Ebay items too. Kodak did a wonderful job creating this camera. It is very user friendly.
