The camera is great. We purchased it for our 9 year old son, because of the price and his love for taking pictures. Deleting bad photos is a great plus. The only problem we had was inserting the batteries. The inside for positive and negative were backwards, however, the cover for the batteries was correct.Digital camera Review: perfect

The first one lasted about 3 days and then it would not come on. I returned it (thanks to amazon's great return policy) and reordered the same model (C713-pink). The second one lasted about 5 days with the same problem. I suspect some design flaw and will not order another. I have had good luck in the past with other Kodak cameras, but this model seems to have quality issues. I was pleased with the quality of the pictures, what few I was able to take.Digital camera Review: problems with two cameras

This camera worked only briefly before freezing -- it would do nothing at all and would not even turn on, despite trying different batteries. Amazon exchanged it for the same model, at our request, and we had the same experience with that one as well. Please check out other online reviews for this camera before puchasing it. This has happened to other buyers. On a postive note, Amazon's customer service continues to impress.
