Digital camera Review: All Kodak printer docks are just junk

I'm getting ready to throw away my THIRD Kodak printer dock. I've tried every one in the series and none have worked properly. One never was able to print at all!
I've known the printer was erratic the last time I tried to use it. I wanted to send some photos with a Christmas card, so spent a lot of time trying to clean the rollers, load paper, select pictures, and print. No luck at all. It refuses to feed paper to the printer, the amber light comes on, and that's it.
When I bought my first printer, I bought a pack of 160 sheets of Kodak paper and ink cartridges. I still have more than 100 blank sheets left, 60 pictures out of three printers. What a shame. No, the shame is really Kodak's, taking what used to be a respectable name and producing 3rd rate junk under that brand.
It does no good to contact Kodak. Their customer service has no idea what to do or what you're talking about. It does no good to write them, you get a form letter back. Diagnosis and repair costs are too high to warrant the expense for a machine that is going to come back and quickly quit working again.
Eastman Kodak - one of the great brands of American industry - once upon a time. Now, they make products not fit for much more than a dollar store.

DO NOT BUY THIS PRODUCT!!!!BUYER BEWARE this printer has been one agonizing problem after another and now IT DOES NOT WORK AT ALL. It does print nice pictures when it works. Right now my pictures do not load, I went to tech support and they told me I have to send in the printer for repair. I bought this in April of 2007 and it quit working in November of 2007. I maybe printed 100 pictures in that time. Take my advice and save yourself the money, time, and headache. UNDER NO CIRCUMSTANCES BUY THE EASYSHARE PRINTER DOCK SERIES 3!!!! This item was described as new. When I received it,it had been packaged in a much over-sized box with a piece of bubble wrap laying over it. None of the items were braced in the box in any way, leaving them to bounce around in the box during transit. The items were scratched and most were obviously not new. If the actual printer-dock was new is debateable...it works, and the selled insists that it is new. The instruction book was very yellowed and "dog-eared," obviously old and used. The cords and parts not directly attached to the printer-dock were obviously not new, and the package of printer paper was opened and not full. But, taking the sellers word that the printer dock is new, I began to print pictures. I got exactly four pictures out of the roll of ink in the printer. I have previously owned a refurbished printer-dock that I purchased from Kodak. Every part of it looked new and it worked as new, for several years. As you can see, I know from experience that I should have gotten more than four pictures out of a new piece of equipment.
I was very satisfied with the first one that I had, which is why when it finally quit working, I wanted another. I feel that the condition of this printer-dock, that I just purchased, was misrepresented.
Digital camera Review: Does what it does perfectly

I bought this to go along with my two Kodak digital cameras. This is the first dedicated photo printer I have owned. I took it out of the box and had it up and running in a matter of minutes. So far I have printed about 50 pictures and every one has been clear, crisp and very faithful to the original digital image. There may be printers on the market that are as good as the Printer Dock 3, but I don't know how they could get any better!
