Use a toothpick, a razor blade, and super glue. Cut the toothpick in half and glue together. Now trim the narrow ends of the glued toothpicks so they are just long enough to press down the microswitch inside the battery compartment and the inside lip of the battery door. Now insert the CRV3 battery and PRESTO, the battery gets charged.Digital camera Review: Recharge that CRV3!!!!!!

This battery lasted no time and failed at my 9 year olds wrestling match where it was needed most and died.I STRONGLY suggest looking elsewhere.The CX4230 is a GREAT product though.
