Digital camera Review: Crazy cool and functionally great.

Perfect little camcorder/camera for casual use. The quality is really good for what it is. There isn't a lot of forgiveness of low lighting, and the zoom is useless without a tripod, but I didn't expect much from either of those things in a camcorder this small.
From where I sit, it's a gizmo worth having, and for the price I feel great about the purchase.

It is hard to believe that such a small video camera has such great pictures. Very easy to download the videos to your computer, and then upload your completed video to facebook or youtube. Even my wife is posting videos of her horses without me sitting there showing her each step. This alone is a great feature. Great. The video editing program that comes with it is very rudimentary, but that also translates to easy to use, and a very small, intuitive learning curve. This is a pretty decent camera, all complaints aside. For a simple end user, who isn't in it for high quality, it does what it is meant to do fairly well. Takes pictures and records footage in a small enough package that it can be slid into your pocket.
We bought the camera when we found that our first child is on the way. I (the techie) had little difficulty with the device, but my wife (not as tech-savvy) had a rough time learning how to transition between the different modes that the camera offered.
The camera itself is exactly what you would anticipate from a product in its price range. "Better than some, not as good as others" is a good way to describe the results that we received, but "your mileage may vary" on that point. It's a great camera to have with you, considering its size. But, if you cannot find a good deal on it, I would consider looking elsewhere, as there are better cameras for about the same price.

I was looking for a small portable camcorder, something I can carry around without too much weight and of course great quality. I came across this and I think it's great. Video quality is clear and pictures aren't too bad either. Uploading takes a while because I'm using the full 1080p quality, but that's not a surprise. The software with this camcorder (can't remember the name) allows me to email these videos using windows live hotmail and that's great too, I can do all that while I have the program on. I like it overall.
