Digital camera Review: Konus 20-60x100 Spotting scope

I purchased this scope for general use looking at distant objects not for spotting in any specific situation. I can not speak to uses like target shooting, but for general uses it appears to work well. It features a very large diamerter lens for the price so it can be used in lower liight situations than similarly priced scopes. I have been able to see ships about 10 miles off well and to see birds flying someplace inbetween. It is quite large and needs a good tripod to hold it steady, but then any spotting scope needs a good tripod. For the size it is not too heavy and it comes with a nice bag for carrying it so it can be toted around. I would recommend this scope for general spotting as a good value for the price.
