I have a Jensen cordless phone headset that just hangs off the ear (product #JTH980)and the foam cushion started to tear and get really worn out. At first I wasn't sure if these would fit but they fit perfectly! These foam replacements measure 1 inch to 1 and 1/2 inches across (I think they will fit my old Sanyo & Sony headphones from yester years walkman too.) In my trip to Japan, I went ahead and lost one of my foam pieces. I was pretty upset at the time, because I was about to endure a very long plane ride home. While there wasn't much I could do about that, a bit of research here allowed me to at least fix the headphones for some later time. I read the reviews here and saw that these replacement foam pads were compatible with my PMX 100's, and decided to give it a shot.
These DO fit them almost perfectly, suspiciously so. I can't tell whether or not the sound quality is different, but I'm pretty sure that if there IS any difference, they're hardly noticeable, and at the very least your headphones are now usable once again, so be happy about it.
While you think this is expensive, consider that you're getting three pairs of replacements, which means you're probably going to have enough of these to last you the course of the headphone's lifespan, which may not actually be that long, considering the cheapening of materials used to make the wires... oh well.

One modification/improvement, that can be made for KOSS Porta Pro and address the issue with leaking sound to surroundings. Is to replace the foam ear cushion with a sealed ear cushion.
Other reported benefits are enhanced Sound performance! The Sennheiser PX200 leatherette closed ear cushions/ear pads have the right size 2" (55mm) and fits perfectly on KOSS Porta Pro.
The benefit in sound performance is reported to be: A tighter bass with some overall improvements and better details, together with increased sensitivity (can play louder). The sealed ear cushion will make Porta Pro, maybe not a fully closed headphone but more a "semi-closed" headphone (still the backside of elements/drivers have openings), but the sealed ear cushions will reduce the leaking sound to the surroundings (maybe appreciated for other people during example a bus ride). The ear cushions for Sennheiser PX200 can be purchased on ebay.
