The LV-TW500 wireless camera is an average camera in terms of picture quality, but probably about what you'd expect for the price (somewhere around $100). Setup/installation was very easy and the product worked the first time running on a Windows 7 laptop with 3GB of RAM. The range of its wireless capabilities seems to be sufficient for a home as long as the target area is not on one side of the house and the monitoring computer is on the other.
Night time/infrared quality is OK, but it does work. I haven't tested the e-mail notification yet, but the instructions on how to set it up to perform this function are sufficient and easy to understand, as long as you understand how to configure your router and firewall.
Overall, it's a decent camera which performs its stated functions. For a better quality picture, if that is needed, you might need a better camera, but for general usage, this one should meet a user's needs.
