So I bought this to help protect my smartphone against impacts whenever I bump or drop it into/onto something which when you keep in your pocket happens quite usually. Shipping was quick. The case isn't gel/flimsy, it's two snap-together plastic plates with a thin gel coating on the exposed sides. It works just fine, but my only complaint is probably due to my lack of research into buying this, but it is a Tight Snap together fit, meaning taking it apart is somewhat worrisome as the think snap-fit clips will probably break somewhat easily. If you aren't planning on changing the battery or taking your phone apart often than this is a good buy, in retrospect though I'd of preferred to have boughten a flimsy pure gel covering.
