I installed this card in an Apple PowerMac G5 running under Leopard. It was a painless install that required no drivers. The E-SATA drive was recognized immediately. I have not attempted to boot from that drive but I see no reason why the machine would not boot if I cloned the boot drive to the E-SATA drive (The OS sees the drive as a standard SATA drive).
