This lapdesk is perfect. It's inexpensive, lightweight, fits my 19" Sony, has a non-slip surface which keeps the laptop steady even when inclined, has a slim comfortable "bean-bag" base which rests on my legs, and (most important to me) keeps my lap comfortably cool during long periods of computer use. It's exactly what I was looking for; now I surf the net for hours while my husband watches TV.
