Keeps my lap cool. I am a big gamer, and I used this extensively for about a year (3-6 hours at a time). After about 8 months or so, the top started to wrinkle, and my laptop was getting hotter when I used it with the lapinator. The materials are kind of cheap-feeling/looking, but this product does the job. I bought it with the mousitizer attachment. It definitely let me play World of Warcraft on a bed in comfort! I purchased this Lapinator to use with my 17" laptop. I needed it to protect my lap from the heat put out from the laptop - and it puts out a lot of heat. My laptop fits well on the Lapinator and a large majority of the heat is kept away from my lap. Good product.Digital camera Review: Lapinator - highly recommended

This is a fantastic product - the best lap desk out there! The product is exactly as described and does a phenomenal job of insulating from the heat. I liked the Lapinator so much that I purchased several - one for each of the laptops around my home. If you're looking for a lap desk, look no further - the Lapinator is awesome! I'm not very impressed with this item. Heat from laptop is felt though lapinator making it uncomfortable to use as designed. Not worth the money.
