Digital camera reviews of Lapinator Plus! - Blocks the heat & keeps your notebook cooler!Digital camera Review: Lapinator plus Summary: 3 Stars
I have mixed feelings about this product. Yes it is very light weight, but seems a bit flimsy as well. I've been using it for about a month now. While it does help to raise up my laptop so the fans can work properly (the fans are on the bottom of my laptop) and significantly reduces the heat on my legs when I use it, the portion that sits directly on my legs is beginning to give and bend as it is not well made or sturdy. My laptop is rather heavy. It might be better suited for a light weight laptop but it doesn't seem that it will last very long for a heavy one. I haven't used any other laptop pad so I haven nothing to compare it to. Overall, I would not purchase this item again for this particular laptop.
Digital camera Review: Nice gift for people who use their laptop while watching TV Summary: 4 Stars
I don't watch TV but my daughter does and uses her laptop at the same time. She is very happy with it. Perhaps we are still evolving.

Digital camera Review: OUR THIRD LAPINATOR! Summary: 5 Stars
Thanks, Lapinator Guy, for developing this product! We travel extensively throughout the US and internationally. My other half uses one of those giant Clevo laptops (same as Alienware, etc.) that our associates have dubbed The Beast...and it probably gets hotter than just about any other laptop despite having numerous builtin cooling fans. I carry the 'girly' version of The Beast from HP...still gets plenty hot. We both hate those silly fan-type coolers, essentially useless and annoying when you are in someone else's boardroom. But, we love our lapinators because they dissipate enough heat to enable us to keep our machines running well. And, they are great for computing in airports, computing in bed, computing outdoors, etc. Nothing is perfect, but these lapinators are close enough for $30. I do recommend using a strong glue to attach the rubber thingies as the original stickum is not good enough to keep these attached. Please note, too, that the Airport Nazis have not yet been able to damage our Lapinators which I find easy to fit in our checked luggage. This is a notable miracle, as our list of other destroyed and damaged items that can be attributed to said Airport Nazis is many pages long! I highly recommend this item for durability and comfort as well as efficacy...more than adequate. Let us know, Lapinator Guy...we would buy stock in your company. Cheers, and Happy Travelling to all!
Digital camera Review: Ok for occasional use. Summary: 3 Stars
I have one under my 17" notebook. The top surface warped immediately. Lapinator includes rubber feet that you can stick to the top to raise the notebook away from the warped parts. You'll need them. Leg padding is good for about 30 minutes of use before becoming uncomfortable, especially with a larger notebook like mine. I need to get off the couch more anyway.
