The battery is for a Canon SD 950IS. It is indistinguisable from the OEM Canon battery It has survived a full year with no problems. I have purchased less expensive batteries from the big auction site that have failed after a years use or have degraded in their ability to retain a charge. This has not happened with the Lenmar.Digital camera Review: Every bit as good as the name brand

I've charged this battery twice since October and it has lasted forever each time. I don't see any difference between this battery and the Canon battery. Definitely worth the money.
