I use cartridges of this type with Lexmark X2250 printer, and am satisfied with it.
It prints as many pages as spec, does not leak, and does not dry out when out of use.
The only problem is the high price per page, which is common to cheap printers, as manufacturors profit from the ink.

Lexmark printers are incredibly inexpensive and print off quality documents. A person can purchase a decent Lexmark printer for about the quarter of the price of other printers. The dirty little secret is that Lexmark really isn't in the business of selling printers, but of selling printer ink. The ink cartridges in a Lexmark printer only last for about 30-50 pages before emptying out. The LEXMARK #16 BLACK INK CARTRIDGE is a better quality cartridge than the LEXMARK #17 BLACK IN CARTRIDGE. Not only is the ink of a slightly higher quality, but there is also more ink in the cartridge and it doesn't clog up as easily. You can buy this cartridge online for a better price than in a retail store and if you buy an ink refill kit, such as those made by Nu-kote, you can almost get your money's worth from this ink cartridge. Overall, this is a better cartridge than Lexmark #17 and if you have a Lexmark printer that requires this cartridge type, this is the black ink cartridge you'll want to buy.Digital camera Review: Did not work

I can print about 25 pages with these cartridges and then they completely stop printing. Go with something else like the HP printers, their cartridges are half the price and can print up to 400 pages on one cartridge.Digital camera Review: Don't buy Lexmark

I have two Lexmark printers and have the same "clogged, but not empty" cartridge problem. Not only are the cartridges over-priced, but their customer service is TERRIBLE!! I have contacted them several times RE: the above problem and they tell me that no one else ever has this kind of problem and they assure me that they sell a quality product. Obviously not! Maybe we need to form an organized group of some kind to make Lexmark realize that they do have a faulty product and they do have unhappy customers!! DON'T BUY LEXMARK!!
