Digital camera reviews of LightWedge Reading Light - RegularDigital camera Review: What a disappointment! Summary: 1 Stars
I bought this light for my husband from a local Borders store. What a disappointment! It has very poor light, and only one setting for brightness. Must be a new style. The enclosed pamphlet says there are two settings for brightness, but a sticker on the outside of the packaging says that it has a new one setting for brightness. Not a good idea, as that one setting is not bright enough, OR we had a defective light. Back it went to the store. We are thinking about checking out the Phorm light.
Digital camera Review: Your kid will sneakingly read books... Summary: 5 Stars
I got this for my 14 year old son after his "book light" broke. He is no "book worm" or "nerd" for sure... but he does enjoy reading. This came about by no accident. We used to double his allowance if he spent the money on books and so that is what he did.
This light wedge puts the light right on the page and no where else so it is very directed light and he can read in a car at night on a long trip without interferring with others. It has a couple of brightness settings and uses low draw LEDs so it will operate for many many many many hours on a single set of batteries. Very well made too... the thing isn't going to break. Very well designed--I highly recommend it.
Now and then I look in on my son after it is lights out for the night... his bedding is "tented" and his head is under the covers and he has his light wedge in there and he is reading. I pretend not to notice... he is "sneaking" around reading books!!!
Digital camera Review: everybody wants one of these Summary: 5 Stars
Every time someone sees this, they comment on it and seem to want one of their own. We love the LightWedge. It's easy on the eyes and is not as hard to maneuver as you'd think it would be.
Digital camera Review: soft night-time viewing Summary: 5 Stars
Whether you're trying to keep from waking your spouse or just protect your vision, this LightWedge allows you to illuminate your book without a floating bulb that spreads unneeded ambient light and excessive glare.
The LightWedge produces almost zero glare on your pages and is soft and gentle on the eyes. Great as a bookmark. LEDs mean no bulb changes. If you read an hour every single night of the week, you can count on the LightWedge to keep lighting your way for over 5 weeks on the same 4 batteries. It is powered by standard AAA batteries, so you don't have to special order odd sizes.
