Well i bought this router cause the DSL's router that verizon gave to me drops the wireless signal all the time. Now with this router everything works nice. I got My Nintendo Wii, Xbox 360, My DirecTv and 2 laptops connected and it works fine. Online Gaming as well. It's a very nice design, very small, it will save you a lot of space. The only thing is that the signal is low like 2 berooms away from the router but even though my internet keeps faster like I'm next to it. for $75 it's Good. Was having issues getting my wireless desktop/laptop connected. I finally came across a post here that suggested a updated software fix called EasyFix [...].
After following the directions and installing the software, it fixed all my issues and now I have a stable connection on all computers.. great performing router.. previously had a Linksys B, this is a stepup for sure and smaller as well.

We've had this unit for several months. The wireless part works OK most of the time, but on an almost daily basis it drops the connection to the laptop. The router has essentially disappeared as it no longer shows up as an available wireless network. We are forced to unplug the power on the router to recycle it and things connect up again.
Very annoying.

I purchased this router to replace an older linksys router that was still functioning but slowing down. As an aside, tech support was always amazed out how old a model I used which speaks well of the brand and longevity of linksys products.
I do not notice any difference in connection speeds or distance from the receiver than my older model. I do however notice a HUGE difference in downloading times. When uploading to my website the time is probably cut in half. That alone was worth the upgrade.
It installed painlessly on four computers for me, one with Vista, which I have very little experience using. Overall, I'm very pleased and in the future I'll buy both the modem and the router.

this router is awesome, the cd it comes with is garbage tho, once installed it dropped off every five mins or so, however with a quick firmware update
and a lengthy call to tech support, i couldn't be happier, it has 4x the distance of my old linksys router and has yet to have to be reset since the firmware update, i recommend for anyone who's willing to put in a little effort to set up
