i dont know even where to begin with this camera. Its great one of the best made to this day. I did a lot of research and everyhwere i looked this camera got high ratings. It is crystal clear and has extremely high resolution. It even has motion detction so it can track you around the room, within limits. It is really cool camera and is perfect for skype. Everyone i talk to with it tells me that i look great on the screen and i accredit it to my camera. I luv it 100%. I recommend everyone gets this camera so people can video chat with crystal clear clarity. This is a must by for anyone who wants to look good on the internet.Digital camera Review: AWESOME

We have 3 married sons with children who live all live long distances apart. For Christmas we bought everyone a Logitech Webcam. We all love them! The first time we skyped, everyone else was together in one room and we talked to them all, even the 3 month old baby!! Since then, we've skyped separately with each family and they use the webcam/skype with each other too! Our conversations are longer because we can see each other. A real plus is that our 2 little grandsons who are 2 and 3 talk to us now because they can see us! We even play games via video!
My husband is helping one son design a cabinet in his basement so they skype and my son holds drawings up to the webcam and my husband is giving him tips! Works like a charm!

Since my last webcam is nearly 5 years old, I hoped that upgrading would be a big change. It was definitely a huge change in picture and audio quality. Whether it is being used for recording video and audio to send to someone or capturing live video and audio for someone to see, this thing does it really well.
I currently use it with my laptop which has Microsoft Windows Vista Home premium on it. I've also used it with Skype on my desktop that is equipped with Ubuntu 8.04 and it worked on 8.10. On Ubuntu, Skype has issues with how it can display the video as well as the other persons, but the video does work. As a side note for potential Ubuntu users, when Skype is using the audio and video of the webcam, it disables the use of playing music from your hard drive but allows you access to music/video from the web, youtube, last.fm, etc.
I'm 100% happy with this camera and would request it to anyone looking for a great webcam!
