I purchased this camera to use with Skype. I wanted something simple but with a good quality picture and the simplest of installation. This camera meets all of the above. This camera is great! I know there are many good cameras out there for PCs but for Macs, not many. I plugged this camera in and started to work immediately, no software needed. I recommend it for people that own a Mac computer that don't have an embedded camera on it and want to use it for skype. The microphone works great, no noise on the other end. It also has the ability to be moved and show the people you are connected with documents in your computer, your kid playing, the outdoors, etc, etc. It has also a very versatile stand that allows the camera to be placed anywhere, your desk, display, hanging somewhere...

I love this webcam. It sits on top of my monitor, and has great video quality. The software is a bit annoying. It always pops up whenever I use video on Skype. I'd be happy if it just worked seamlessly in the application, but otherwise it's a very good webcam.
