I got excellent feedback when using this unit on SKYPE. Auto features for light and echo make video conferencing quite easy. The unit also can record an HD version of Windows Media video as well as large still images when not used for live conferencing. There is a privacy feature that displays a still image rather than live video if you don't want to be seen on camera. I hope this feature is improved and designed to be used as a slide show presentation. I've been looking for this feature for a long time. During a live video conference I've often wanted to show recently taken digital photos while chatting. This feature lets you go to a folder on your computer and display images in place of your live video as you talk. I love this feature if they would only improve the resolution of the image displayed at the distant end. Don't listen to the boo-hooers on here. This web cam blows any other web cam away by a mile. The software downloaded flawlessly. What is most impressive is the clarity of the picture, sound and continuity of the image. It easily links you into yahoo messenger, msn messenger, skype, and aim. If you want to stay on your dark, grainy, neanderthal web cam I can take a dump in a box and write web cam on it for you. But, if you want a quality web cam with incredible clarity, easy to use, great sound, great lighting, and image continuity, consider this one.Digital camera Review: Easy communication over difficult distances

Being so far away from family is difficult. This product allows more than a phone call alone offers and is really great with children. They will still recognize you if travel or other situations keep you at distances. Works great with the traveling laptop and also with the pc at home. While I haven't put this product through its paces as much as I had hoped, it's a really good camera so far. Unobtrusive, crisp picture, good color/brightness balance, simple to use right out of the box. Camera can pan and zoom through the software control panel, and you can also pivot the lens up and down on the camera itself. Click a button to start/stop recording, click another to take a picture. Built-in microphone is adequate if you speak loud and clear. Solidly built. Very impressed with the feature set. Would not hesitate to buy again.Digital camera Review: Excellent
