I recently got a new computer, yet in order to place it in my desk, I needed either a wireless keyboard/mouse or one with a longer wire. I decided to go with the new technology and get the wireless set. I can honestly say that I'm very pleased with it.
On average I spend about 4 hours per day on the computer and I use my keyboard almost at all times. Let's start with the price of the item. I got mine with a speaker set for about $40. The quality is great, except with some exceptions of thin plastic. The feel of this mouse and keyboard are incredible. Most wireless keyboard sets are very bulky and heavy, but you really can't tell the difference between wired and wireless with this item.
The one thing I am not very happy about is how short the battery life is in these sets. I had mine for about 2 months and I had to replace the batteries, but what's nice is that it doesn't lose the connection between battery changes.
Well, that's my two cents about this product. I hope you consider this item because it's great!

I have owned the LX 300 for about 3 weeks now and could not be happier with my purchase. I purchased this for my home computer after looking at several other Logitech products. The keyboard is very comfortable with lots of handy extra keys that you don't find on most keyboards. Audio controls, Internet and e-mail keys just to name a few. The Mouse is also very comfortable and very accurate. The key selling point on this combo was the wireless feature. I'm very anal about the way things look, so the clean, uncluttered look was what I was aiming for. This was my first time purchasing through Amazon, and it couldn't have been a better experience. I was able to save about $35-$40 dollars over buying from a chain store. Also, the free shipping was outstanding and was sitting on my doorstep 3 days after ordering. Awesome Job Amazon!! After reading some of the reviews on this site, I was a bit hesitant buying the LX300. I've now been using the mouse and keyboard for about a month and I love it. I've had no issues! This is a fantastic wireless keyboard and mouse. I could use this without and skipping or jumps from my mouse or freezes from my keyboard from up to 10 feet away. It worked right when I plugged it into my computer. You don't even need to install the software allthough if you want to assign the shortcut keys you'll need it. I am 15 years old and overall this was a very good purchase!!!
