Digital camera Review: Christmas gift
Summary: 5 Stars

purchased as a Christmas present. Arrived two days before Christmas and was exactly as advertised.

Digital camera Review: Coreless and reliable
Summary: 5 Stars

This was purchased as a replacement for the same product purchased 2 years ago. The keyboard was still funtional, but the mouse died. I use the mouse extensivly including gaming so I was not disappointed in length of life. It has been a very satifactory choice for me and works without fail. USB receiver is small and can use one of the ports on the back of my desktop unitl (out of the way). The mouse recharger takes a little space and adds one more wire to connect, but that is no worse than the keyboard and mouse both have wires laying on the desktop.

Digital camera Review: Disappointing Quality for the Long Run
Summary: 1 Stars

When I bought this keyboard a year and a half ago I was, and I still remain, very impressed with its electronics which are simply superb. The Bluetooth range for both the keyboard and mouse is really remarkable and the battery life is also very good. What bothers me about this product are all the extra features that I really don't need or want, the cheap construction of the keyboard, and the poor Logitech support policy. I will discuss each individually.

1) By features I mean all the extra buttons and displays that are there apparently to justify this product's, then relatively high $150 price tag. They have added three additional buttons and another wheel to the normal wheel mouse. For my money, this stuff just gets in the way and I never use it. The keyboard has at least 15 additional buttons and a display that I literally never look at. Actually I find a few features useful. You can enlarge most windows with a keypress. I find that handy because I use the PC in my living room with my HDTV. Keyboard buttons can also control iTunes and you can prevent the hated Caps-Lock key their software, but I find the other bells and whistles useless or annoying. I realize some people think all this extra gadgetry is great, but for me it is just a waste of money.

2) By cheap construction I am referring to the plastic keyboard keys. When I first got this keyboard the keys operated very smoothly, just like a high end notebook keyboard, but after only a year and a half (during which time I have replaced the keyboard batteries only twice) the keys in the keyboard are all binding and in some cases even, sticking in the depressed position. This is a horrible situation that will soon force me to replace this keyboard. There is simply NO EXCUSE for such cheap construction considering the product's high price tag. By contrast I use a 20 year old IBM AT keyboard at work where I probably do 10 times the typing that I do on my home computer. This keyboard is still going strong with perfectly functioning keys plus actual indicator lights you can see (compared to the rinky-dink display the Logitech keyboard has).

3) By poor Logitech support, I am referring to what happened when I attempted to get support for my keyboard problem. As noted above, I've had the keyboard for a year and a half which is beyond their one year warranty period. I was not expecting them to fix the keyboard for free, I contacted them to see if I could PURCHASE a new top half of the keyboard which contains the actual keys. It comes off easily by unscrewing a dozen screws. I removed it in order to clean it and to try to lubricate some of the sticking keys. That effort proved unsuccessful so I contacted them with the idea of buying a replacement top. Originally I included the actual correspondence including the techs name but that probably caused Amazon to decline to post the review. I will summarize it instead. At first he seemed more interested in denying a warranty claim because I had opened it but I finally made it clear I just wanted a replacement part. Apparently they do no sell these parts and he offered a 50% discount should I chose to buy another which, of course, I have no interest in doing. So, if after reading this sad tale of poor reliability you still want this keyboard I highly recommend that you also purchase a nice long extended warranty, you'll need it!

Digital camera Review: Does not work with VISTA business
Summary: 2 Stars

The side number pad stops working randomly. Their tech support sounds like I am calling Jamaica, seriously, and they are no help at all and have long hold times and freqent disconnections. They dont know what is wrong. I am sure it's a vista issue.

Logitech stinks. Vista is troublesome and touchy. This is not the keyboard for me. It's not VISTA CERTIFIED.

Digital camera Review: Don't Buy a product full of bugs
Summary: 1 Stars

I bought this thing and it do not work as expected - the email display don't work due to a bug on software and Logitech don't care on updating it after 10 months!!!

Don't buy a product that its desktop software is full of bugs and a company like logitech will not update it after 10 months!!
