Digital camera reviews of Logitech Cordless Desktop MX 5500 Revolution Bluetooth Mouse and KeyboardDigital camera Review: Don't waste your money Summary: 1 Stars
Mouse is somewhat comfortable to use, and it is not too heavy. Its battery lasts for about a week under normal use, when fully charged, and not the 14 days that its application indicates. The recharger base is a nice thing to have, and can charge the mouse in a few hours. But, it would have been nice if it was designed in such a way that it was easy to use. Whoever designed the charger's base must have been on something very strong. Good luck trying to get the mouse to line up on the charger.
Mouse's pointer is not 100% accurate, and sometimes it takes a bit of back-and-forth moving to position the pointer on a small icon or object. Free-spin does not work well at all, and it does roll back most of the times. Sometimes, I have to manually set it to Click-to-Click so that it stops rolling the opposite direction. It automatically switches between Free-Spin and Click-to-Click, when it is setup to do so, but I cannot tell what makes it switch between the two options. Sometimes it seems like it just switches as soon as you touch the mouse, and without even touching the wheel. It seems like that the Free-Spin function does not work right.
The keyboard is already in the trash after about 4 months of using it. It was just not usable, and the feel of it was terrible. I had to get rid of it. I just could not type on it. It drove me crazy enough that I just finally got mad and throw it away.
So, overall do not waste you money on this set. It really is not worth the money, and even if you buy it cheap, it does not work well. The biggest problem is its bad design. They should have tried to keep it simple, and normal. When a keyboard does not feel and look like a keyboard, then it is not a keyboard.

Clock screen not lighted. Mouse always skipped, even with the bluetooth 6 inches away. And the keyboard will give you a lot of My mx 5500 will be listed on eBay tomorrow.
Digital camera Review: Easy and worth it Summary: 5 Stars
I needed something like this when I finally hooked my PC up to my 55" TV in the living room.
The best feature to me (other then the wireless Bluetooth and no battery needed for the mouse) is the fact that it works seamlessly with my USB keyboard and mouse. There is no switching between this and the other ones, so I can set the mouse on the charger and keyboard in a corner next to my recliner. When I go back to the desk, nothing needs changed. The hardest part of the whole setup is finding an out of the way place to put the dongle. I solved that with a Belkin F3U134-10 USB Extension Cable (10-Feet).
The mouse is just great with "Auto-Shift." Trust me, that's probably the best innovation I've seen in mice. If to spin the wheel fast enough, the "click" is disengaged and your free wheeling. The speed is adjustable as is all sort of other things. It's sort of like a transmission in your car going into overdrive.
All the keyboard keys work as expected, it they feel really well built. With the keyboard in your lap, you don't feel like it will break.
I know the price seems a bit high, but it's well worth it. I would say that if your using a mouse and keyboard at the PC, there are cheaper ways to go for that, but for distance use with a remote monitor, this is PERFECT.
Digital camera Review: Easy setup Summary: 5 Stars
Keyboard was easy to install, has great range. Tried a couple of other wireless keyboards, one only had a range of about 5 or 6 feet, the other about 15 - and that was eratic. This one works from at least 25 feet - that's about as far as I can move and stay in the same room with the computer. Very good product.
Digital camera Review: Efficient, Comfortable, Great Ergonomics, Highly Recommended ! Summary: 5 Stars
The Logitech MX5500 Revolution does everything extremely well. Comfortable to the touch, comfortable to use.
It has just the right amount of key travel on the keyboard and gives great feedback allowing faster typing. More importantly, for someone like me with arthritis, it reduces hand and wrist strain. The keyboard also has a number of buttons that directly access media, pictures, gadgets and also manipulate screens in a 3-D representation allowing quick visual identification and navigation. It also has a separate numerical keypad. The mouse has excellent range and the software allows fine tuning of sensitivity and movement features as well as allowing unique function assignments to each button. The keyboard LCD screen has a date, time and temperature functions. It also displays artist name and song/movie titles when playing media, has a keystroke counter and alerts and notifies when new emails arrive in my Inbox. All in all, terrific at everything you want from a keyboard and mouse combination. Highly recommended purchase!!!
