Digital camera Review: No Mac Support

I bought this assuming that it would at least have rudimentary Mac support. It does not. They could at least create a driver that lets the keyboard work. I don't know it they don't want to create a Mac driver because of the Internet Explorer and Excel keys, or if they are just lazy. I bought this to replace a wired 10-key touch pad for my DESKTOP computer whose entertainment-focused keyboard lacks a 10-key, and I'm flat out impressed by the quality of the Logitech Cordless Number Pad "for Notebooks".
It's elegant and, so far, nearly flawless. There's no response time to wake it up as with some wireless products. The USB receiver fits nicely into the unit and the carrying case, Excel/Calculator/Internet Explorer buttons and energy-saving power button are all nice features. Also, since it's wireless, there's less clutter on my desk now!
The only thing I can't comment on yet is the battery life since I've only had the product for a week. If the unit lives up to its "6-month battery life" claim, I'll go so far as to say this is one of my most recommended purchases.
The only improvement I'd wish for is Bluetooth capability to free-up the USB port the wireless receiver requires.
FOLLOW UP: I ended up getting a little over 2 months of battery life off of 24/7 use of this device. That's a little short of the 6 month claim, but I think it's fairly impressive, nonetheless!
Digital camera Review: Not Mac compatible...PROBABLY!

This pad came up on a search for Mac keypads, so I bought it. Should have read the fine print! Logitech support said it MIGHT work on older Macs, but couldn't say which. Too bad, because it looks and feels great!
UPDATE: My bad! There's a little-discussed Systems Preference setting in Mac OS 10 called Universal Access; it has a Mouse tab, and if the Mouse Keys is turned ON, the external keypad won't work. I discovered this only recently. So I have to assume the Logitech keypad might have worked just fine if I'd known the secret...but I don't know how many stars.

I bought this product for my wife. She uses a laptop at her office and it was a complete hassle for her to work in Excel and her sales. Curiosity picked up and we found this product. Now she finishes in half the time and doesn't hate her sales report!!!!!! Only complain is why didn't find this sooner!!!!!
