Digital camera reviews of Logitech Cordless TrackMan WheelDigital camera Review: Comfortable and natural mouse Summary: 5 Stars
I own three of these cordless rollerball mouses from Logitech. It allows your hand to rest very comfortably without causing wrist strain. I have used it for about 2 years. It took me about a day to get used to the rollerball but have loved it ever since. You just have to get used to turning the rollerball and slightly taking your thumb off of it to click on something. That way you don't accidently move off of what you want to click on. It lets you know by a written prompt that appears on the screen when it is time to change the battery. Try it--you will like it.
Digital camera Review: Comfortable! Summary: 5 Stars
Used one of these about a year ago and had to have one of my own. Very easy to install, takes just minutes. Fits the hand well and easy to use. Can work around the web pages with ease. Great product!!
Digital camera Review: Comfortable, Useful and Generally Reliable Summary: 4 Stars
The trackball has been a real upgrade from using a conventional mouse. I am really glad I made the conversion and should have done it sooner. I purchased the cordless trackball on recommendation of one of my colleagues at work who has expertise in human factors and ergonomics. I was getting cramped fingers at the end of a long day of editing documents, creating slides and surfing webpages doing research. I was hesitant at first to use a trackball because I was pretty comfortable with a mouse and I didn't want to interrupt my working rythm.
The installation of the device and the software was easy and I re-trained myself within a few minutes. No more tired index finger. The trackball is easy to control and navigating webpages is a real pleasure.
The only complaint, and the reason I gave it four instead of five stars, is that twice in two months, the cursor has "lodged" itself into the upper right corner and refused to move. Seems to be tied to coming out of the screen saver. The only working solution has been to re-boot the machine.
Overall, it is great and I heartily recommend it.
Digital camera Review: Comfortable, natural fit for right-hand only, stable design Summary: 4 Stars
Simple and stable design. Wide palm rest, very natural and comfortable feel. Wish there were back and forward buttons. Many options for configuring pointer movement and actions.
Battery cover difficult to open, was concerned about breaking it.
Make sure to position the receiver with ample open space around it (not next to other devices), or mouse movements may be erratic.
Digital camera Review: Corded trackball mouse Summary: 4 Stars
The mouse is everything I looked for. I would like to see a little more drag on the ball to allow for acuracy. I would also like an adapter to go from OS2 to USB so I can hook up through my USB hub. I do like the mouse.
