Digital camera Review: As comfortable as the original, with more freedom!

I have been using the trackman marble forever - it came out, then was discontinued (in favor of other shapes and other ball positions) and was then brought back again. I've bought a few over the years, but the older ones are still being used by my kids - they stick around.
This latest one is wireless, with the same shape and feel - no adjustment period. The range isn't bad, but if I bring it all the way into my lap (with the sensor at the back of the desk) it gets skippy.
Overall, I love it - highly recommended. Just note that the sensor thingy (dongle) is big. It's not a tiny thing, but a wire and something sort of mouse-sized on the end.

My first trackball, and very good at that. Works upto 4' away. Also, the trackball is easy and very intuitive for use.
Edit - 5 years after my original review I am very happy to report that I have had 4 computers and 3 keyboards in the interim, but my original trackman, the one I reviewed, is still on the right side of this keyboard. I refuse to use anything else.
I used to have a mild form of carpel tunnel syndrome, and switched to the trackball to alleviate the condition. Since the switch, things have been much better, and stayed that way for 5 years. I must say - this mouse is a nominee for the best 40 bucks ever spent.

I am apparently one of the few people on Earth who prefers trackballs to mice, so the trackball selection is quite limited. I formerly had a Logitech (corded) TrackMan Wheel, and had it for several years before it finally died. I got this as a replacement, and it's even better. The cordlessness means I can move it around my desk as I please, and if I decide to take my laptop off my desk and, say, to the couch, the reciever doesn't care. The reception is excellent, even able to pick up the signal from across the room and through a door. Though for some reason it stops if it gets too close to my cat.
Anyway, it's a great trackball made even better by being wireless.

I am using this for the past 6 months, i couldn't ask for a better mouse/trackball. This perfectly fits my hand and never have to move my hand. I took this when i was experiencing slight pain. I use computers for nearly 10-14 hrs a day average.
I highly recommend this.

Hands down, the best darn mouse ever made. To think I wasted all those years with that old obsolete "crappy" mouse that I could never seem to get the hang of anyway. The Trackman Wireless Mouse is the only style that should be on the market today, it's the easiest to use and most accurate, i.e. when you move it to where you want it to go, it actually goes there. Also I am a 6 ft. 3 in. tall female with rather large hands and the Trackman Wireless Mouse fits so well it's as if it were made just for me. Thank you so much to whome ever designed it, you have made me and all my family of large handed people very happy indeed. I'm sure all of you folks out there with average sized hands will enjoy the comfort and ease of use with this ergonomic wireless mouse. Thanks again, pinkwan.
