I got this joystick for my Flight Simulator and it is just what I needed! The special feature of twisting stick is a must to easily control the rudder pedals (and therefor to move the rudder) and also for turning properly during aircraft taxing.
It got 11 buttons + trigger (that counts twelve), hat switch for easily move your view and the throttle control for smoothly manage your engines power.
Overall, it behaves perfect, doesn't tip over, smooth sensation. I recommend this control device if you like flight simulators, I don't use it on anything else but will see if it got good use.
Oh btw, as soon I plugged the device into my front usb port, WinXP did the rest, I didn't have to use the installation CD, and my flight simulator software detected it too when I first run the game after installing the joystick.
What can I say... I am a happy customer, x'D

tHIS IS MY FIRST JOYSTICK
so im not a pro, but ive seen a real joystick and this completely kiks its but left and right, and with a twist too
yaa, u can rotate ur hand and it will swivel
BAD THINGS
1.) THE THROTTLE IS JUMPY A LIL BIT IF U PUSH IT TO THE RIGHT
1.) Anwser: push the lil tab back to the left a lil bit, SO DONT FREAK
This is in fact a righty stick wit all of the finger buttons on ur free-hand so no need to go tripin ur self
u do get a lil d-pad type thing to move ur view.
this is a very nice-lookin joystick
in my oponion this is a great combat flight sim Battle for europe joystick
this does NOT have a CHEAP PLASTIC FEEL or ANY HARD EDGES AT ALL!!!
just so u know, or at least i know, i have not found the #1 button(they are numbered for ur pleasure) though it might be the TRIGGER

Bought the Logitech Extreme 3D Pro Joystick.
Pluged it in and played Battlefield 2 for months...
The TWIST began to pull to one side...
Attempted to calibrate, and IT DOSENT CALEBRATE!
Contacted LOGITECH SUPPORT... and got punked!
The automatron on the other line just kept repeating himself.
"your warranty is expired, but we can offer a 20% discount for your next Logitech purchase"
Are you kidding LMFAO!!!!
I explained again that the Joystick is not functioning...
The tech repeated that he cannot help me...
When Logitech gets your money......... they dont care thereafter.....
Went on line and found videos how to attempt to fix your POS 3D PRO.
Took it apart,,, and found hat the little chip that controls the TWIST was broken.
Of course LOGITECH cant replace the joystick, or even send me a new $1 part.
Their customer support is HORRIBLE... THERE IS NONE!!!!
NEVER AGAIN LOGITECH.,. NEVER AGAIN!!!!!

I bought this for my husband for x-mas to go with his Flight Simulator 2004 and he really enjoys it. It took a little while to get use to all the different controls, but once he did he was quite happy. Now to just get him away from the computer!
