Digital camera reviews of Logitech FreePulse Wireless Headphones

Digital camera Review: Better than expected, but room for improvement
Summary: 4 Stars

I've had these for a little over a month now and have used them a lot. I go to law school and walk to class every morning, spend a few hours in the library, go workout, and then walk home. The battery on these seems to last through all of that depending on how long I'm in the library... but I usually can get 4-5 hours total use of them before they're done. I usually pair them to my cell phone (has an mp3 player in it) and that took a little bit of searching online to figure out how to do. If you hold the button on the headphones themselves for about 30 seconds you can pair them with things other than the included adapter, which is helpful to know but not in the instruction book.

The good: These things are light weight, provide crisp sound, and simple in their functionality.

The less good: Battery life could be extended, afterall most mp3 players are lasting 10+ hours on a charge these days. Some added functionality would be nice, the ability to pause rather than simply mute for instance.

The bad: These things work fantastic in a closed environment, but outside the signal tends to come and go. I don't know if that is just the nature of the technology or these in particular, but if you're wanting something to go running in or while biking I'd try something else first.

Summary: Great sound, easy to use, versatile once you know how to pair them to other devices. Could use a little more functionality, and be a little stronger outdoors, but would definitely encourage friends and family with a need to buy them.

Digital camera Review: Better than i expected.
Summary: 4 Stars

I've been using them for about a month. They're good-looking, and the sound quality is a lot better than I thought before I used them(just don't compare them with some expensive wire headphones, cos that's really not fair~). That's is just a comletely cool feeling for using wireless headphone to enjoy music.

My only complaint is if I wear them for more than an hour, my ears will begin to feel a little painful. I don't know whether it's because I'm wearing glasses.

Overall, for this price, they're really worthy to buy if you are a music lover.

Digital camera Review: Blessed Freedom at last !
Summary: 5 Stars

I had been looking for cordless earphones for some time. When I stumbled upon this little gadget I was somehow skeptic but anyway I bought them. Following I will convey some of my thoughts on this product.
First (the positive or PROS): the headphone system comprises of two items, a transmitter you plug to your ipod or any other device and properly, the headphones. Operation is very simple, just charge, turn on both items and voilà! If you have the headset over your ears you will hear a sound indicating that contact has been made with the transmitter as long as you turn the transmitter on first. The volume control is integrated into the headset so it is very easy to change, besides a tone will tell you when you have reached maximum volume setting.
I own both super-fi and bose headphones which I will not compare to these gizmos but I have to say that I would trade some amplitude in the frequency band for the freedom they give me. I mainly use them for the gym and I really enjoy running and doing my weight training without cables. I put my ipod on top of a machine and forget about it until I fall out of range! The range is good by the way, it gives you more than 10 meters if you are on open space like the gym, however if you have walls between you and the transmitter, the signal deteriorates fast.
The headphones are comfortable, I can wear them through my whole gym session (about two hour daily) without discomfort. What I enjoy the most is the fact that I can listen to my music or plug the transmitter into the listening devices placed at the machines in the gym and listen to the news while running. I used to hate the cable moving to the frequency of my running or sometimes my hand disconnecting the cable violently from the machine transmitter. A dream come true!, these times are gone now, the headphones let you run, escalate or do your workout in the elliptic machine without cables.
CONS: the sound is average good, treebles are somehow muffled but I do not care about it, the bass sounds though are rich, I did not expect to have such nice bass response from this headphones, I was positively surprised when I first listened through these devices!. I can listen to either George Winston, Mozart or Iron Maiden without major problem! I give this headphones a five star rate not very much for the sound quality but for the freedom they give. Besides, I would not define the sound quality as muddy or bad, it is average, if you need a reference point i'd say treebles are a little better on ipod standard headphones, bass sound though is better on Logitech's Freepulse headphones. There's still room for improvement when sound quality is discussed but I think Logitech is on the right track.
The headphones pack include the transmitter and headphones, a little very useful cable for connecting the transmitter when space is tight, charger and several "templates" to adapt the bluetooth trasmitter for several mp3 devices.

Digital camera Review: Clear Sound and Exceptionally Versatile
Summary: 5 Stars

This is a great headset. For its sleek format, it produces very clear sound, thanks to BT2.0 and EDR. The range is excellent - it covered my entire house, even across wooden walls and floors. It's got a great battery life. I use it for days between charges.

The best thing is that the transmitter hooks not only to iPod but to any mini jack, so it's got a great connectivity. At work, I hook it up to my PC and use it like a jukebox without the hassle of wires getting tangled up. At home, I hooked it up my TV and stereo system using a standard Y-adapter from Radioshack, and listen to movies or music without disturbing others. While I'm jogging, of course, I hook it to my iPod.

My newer laptop has BT2.0 built-in, and I was able to link the headset to it directly without using the mini-jack transmitter. To allow discovery, just press the headset power button until the lights alternate between red and blue. My cell phone doesn't support BT2.0, so the connection failed, but I'm gonna be looking for a phone with BT2.0 when my cell contract is due.

In all, this device will let you enjoy clear sound in style from many different sources without the worry of wires or range.
