Digital camera Review: Use this for Adobe Lightroom... will cut image editing time in half!

I've been using a Logitech G13 "gaming keypad" programmed with Lightroom's shortcut keys to increase image editing speed with Adobe Lightroom 2 and Beta 3.
Recently I edited a wedding reception and used the Logitech G13/Lightroom and oh-my-gosh you will not believe how much faster I was able to edit the job. Probably cut my editing time in half at the very least. It's a totally different experience than using a full sized keyboard with shortcuts as the hand stays in one spot, so no need to hunt for shortcut keys as on a full sized keyboard.
Did a ton of research on gaming keyboards and Logitech G13 really was the best in terms of build, drivers and manufacturer support. Purchased mine for $54.00US after rebate here on amazon.com a few months ago.
Other research included Belkin's Nostromo SpeedPad n52... Actually my gaming keypad journey for Adobe Lightroom was inspired by Neil Cowley's Lightspeed Workflow that uses the Nostromo n52. But upon research the Nostromo has zero tech support and drivers that have not been updated in a long while. Conversely the Logitech G13 is built by one of the top keyboard/mouse manufacturers and their forums are very lively with support from Logitech people and hard core Logitech fans. Drivers were recently updated also.
Lightroom has a limitation as many core development controls, ( Exposure, Color Temp, Fill Light ) do not have shortcut keys. To get around that use a program called Quickeys by Startly (both for Mac and Windows). First and foremost... it takes a lot of work to set it up via Quickeys, but it does work well once completed and well worth the effort. Quickeys maps out mouse clicks via screen/window placement so there's a lot of elbow grease involved and it has limitations... but it's doable for sure as seen on the open source keys website: [...] . Actually go the open source keys website and download the Quickeys file and edit it for your own use as this will save yourself a lot of time.
I'm still experimenting using both Lightroom shortcut keys directly with the G13 driver combined with Qiuckeys to add extra functions.
But the bottom line is: Use Lightroom's stock shortcut keys with the G13 and you will still have an incredible speed improvement.
